Whether you just bought your first handgun or you want to sharpen advanced skills, you work directly with a certified instructor who meets you where you are.
First-time owners welcome
If you have never held a firearm, this is a judgment-free place to start. We cover safe handling, storage, and the fundamentals until they feel natural. You set the pace, and you never feel rushed or talked down to.
For experienced shooters
Already comfortable? We tailor sessions to what you want, from accuracy and drawing to defensive fundamentals and scenario work. You get coaching focused on your goals, not a one-size class.
NRA courses
We offer NRA courses, including Basic Pistol, for shooters who want a recognized curriculum and certificate. Ask us which course fits your goals.
How it works
Tell us your experience level and what you want to get out of it. We match you with an instructor and a plan, and you book a time that works. Sessions are typically billed by the hour.

Is this a concealed carry permit class?
No. For the permit, see our Virginia concealed carry (CHP) class. Private instruction is personalized skill-building.
Can we train as a small group?
