A concealed carry class that meets Virginia’s requirement
Virginia law requires you to show handgun competence in person, and since January 1, 2021, online certificates do not count. Our class is taught in person by a certified instructor, so your certificate holds up at the courthouse. Virginia does not require live fire for the permit, which means a first-time shooter can take this class and walk out ready to apply.

How to get your permit after the class
You take your certificate and file your application with the clerk of the circuit court where you live. The sheriff runs a background check and a judge signs off. We lay out every step in class, so you know exactly what to file and where, and you are not stuck guessing at the courthouse. Your proof of competence does not expire, so the certificate stays good until you are ready.
