Your DCJS registration does not last forever, and letting it lapse can cost you work. We run the in-service and firearms requalification classes that keep you current, in Manassas, on a regular Monday and Friday schedule. Get in, requalify, and get back to work.
In-service renewal (01I)
Virginia requires registered security officers to complete in-service training to renew. Our 01I in-service class refreshes the core subjects and keeps your registration active before it expires.
Firearms requalification
Armed officers must requalify with their firearm on a set schedule. We run requalification so you stay eligible to carry on the job without a gap.
A schedule that fits shift work
We hold renewals and requalification on Mondays and Fridays, so you can keep your registration current without rearranging your whole week. Walk in current, walk out current.
Do not wait for the deadline
Renewing before your expiration date is far easier than restarting after a lapse. If you are close to your date, book now. If you have already lapsed, talk to us and we will tell you the fastest path back.
Common questions
When should I renew?
Before your registration expires. We recommend booking a few weeks out.
What if my registration already lapsed?
Contact us. The path back depends on how long it has been, and we will lay it out.
Do armed officers need both?
Yes, in-service and firearms requalification are separate requirements.
